Description
Wurk’s new single “Song for Squares” ventures into uncharted territory for the band, exploring a mixture of pop and punk with reggae undertones. Throughout the single, the band flexes its adaptability while staying true to its foundations in groove and riffs. “Song for Squares” raw emotive undertones and lyrics pry at the foundation of current American societies’ lust for divisiveness, drama and crave for acceptance. This song provides a characterization of growing through hard times, feeling out of place and watching others “burn it to the ground”.
