Life Update from Casey Seymour

Hey folks, Casey here. I have made the difficult decision to step away from the band.

As some of you are aware, my wife and I are expecting twins later this spring! While this brings an overwhelming excitement, it also brings a huge responsibility. I must do everything in my power to make the best life for our growing family. I also know how much time and energy it takes to create music at the level that is delivered by this group. My bucket can only be so full, and I cannot allow it to overflow.

While this is a challenging and saddening decision, I also want to reflect on what I have gained from this experience. Seven years ago, almost to the day, Max reached out and asked if I would be interested in joining a band. Just a few short weeks after that, I played my first show and it’s been a whirlwind ever since. I am grateful for the people I’ve met, grateful for this small group of musician friends who have become like family to me, grateful for our accomplishments, grateful for the music I’ve been able to experience (onstage, backstage, and in front of the stage) and grateful to have had the opportunity to create.

Thank you all for the past seven years – it’s been a wild ride.

P.S. We’ve lined up some great folks to fill the low end this spring and summer – don’t miss out!
